Ravi Krishnan has over two decades of experience in the data management space, having led large transformation efforts in the private sector. His prior experience includes serving as the head of analytics and decisioning transformation at TransUnion, head of data strategy at Discover and consultant to several Fortune 500 companies. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago-Booth School of Business and is currently pursuing his PhD in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.

He states “The state of North Dakota is investing in building its information technology capabilities to improve the customer experience and enable data-driven decision making. Investments in cloud, automation, machine learning and AI are exciting areas for us to explore and exploit for improved experiences and cost savings.”

In his role as Chief Data Officer at the North Dakota Information Technology Department (NDIT), Krishnan oversees business intelligence, data science and development areas for a suite of applications for state agencies. Initiatives underway at NDIT leverage blockchain, robotic process automation (RPA) and advanced analytics.
