Naveen Kapoor is working with Shell India as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. He has completed his Masters in Computers Applications from Cochin University, Kerala. He is having 16 years of experience in Application development, Big data analytics and Machine Learning space. In his initial years with IBM he has worked on developing and architecting web based enterprise application. From last 8 years he is working on big data and analytics solutions as consultant and individual contributor. In 2018 he joined Data Science R&D team at Shell for chemial Process Analytics where he has worked on developing soft sensor solution for oil tank farms and worked on developing predictive and prescriptive analysics. In 2022, he started working with AI Innovation team on price prediction applications. As a lead he is responsible for developing and deploying this machine learning solution for multiple markets using MLOps practices and replicating this product to multiple markets.
