Juan has been with Zorroa since its very beginning in 2014, as the company’s principal Data Science Engineer. He helps integrate ML features into the product in ways that are usable by non-data scientists. Before Zorroa, Juan spent twenty years in the computer animation industry including DreamWorks Animation and Pixar, where he worked on simulations of crowds and natural phenomena and developed rendering techniques used by the broader M&E industry. He has credits in films including Shrek, Madagascar, Ratatouille, Wall-E and Toy Story 3. An avid traveler and adventurer, Juan has also spent two years driving a VW camper van from California to Tierra del Fuego.
