Dewayne is an Applied AI technologist who has over 18 years working in government technology. In one of his most recent roles, he served as a Technology Innovation Strategist at the United States Postal Service. At USPS he created the first voice powered AI chatbot that went from a prototype to production in the USPS call center. From his technology innovation work at USPS, he was invited to speak on “Prototyping AI Experiences” at Google Next 2019 in San Francisco. He is currently working as an independent AI researcher and official Towards Data Science Contributing Author. Dewayne is also a Johns Hopkins and Maryland Institute College of Arts Graduate.
