Director, IT Spending Transparency, Office of Government-wide Policy – GSA

Mr. York joined the Government as a Student Intern for the Department of Justice where he spent 10 years working on IT Capital Planning and IT Governance issue, serving as the primary author for internal DOJ IT Policy and overseeing those policies’execution. In 2014 he left DOJ for a 6-month detail at OMB OFCIO to write the BY2016 IT BudgetGuidance prior to starting his role as the GSA eCPIC Program Executive in Dec 2014. In April 2018 Mr. York became the Director, IT Spending Transparencywithin GSA’sOffice of Government-wide Policy where he leadstheFolio PMO, the Federal ITDashboard PMO, as well as the team that is working on the federal TBM implementation. He services as a strategic partner to OMB OFCIO, is the Government Chair of the ACT-IACITMM COI, and believes strongly in helping the government to be smarter, faster, and more efficiently deliver of its various missions
