Cj is a senior member of the IEEE women in engineering and medical communities. As the MITRE @ University of Virginia site partnership leader, Dr. Rieser directs an integrative engineering in medicine Learning Laboratory that collaborates on complex data environments, smart connected mobile telehealth systems, and shared clinical analytics capabilities to improve care, safety, and quality of life. She facilitates a working group of thought leaders spanning government, academia, as well as industry with interests in developing standards for both sharing analytics and portable data models. Her research focuses on cognitive analytics, cyber-physical systems, and human learning. Cj enjoys mentoring future generations of researchers in the study of emerging technologies, as detailed in selected publications.
