In this episode of the GovFuture Podcast we feature a panel discussion from the July 20, 2023 GovFuture Forum DC event that took place in Washington, DC. The hot topic panel was focused on “The Cyber Cutting Edge – Quantum, AI, & Beyond”. The panel discussed how emerging technologies like quantum computing and artificial intelligence impact the landscape of cybersecurity as well as measures the government is taking to stay ahead of sophisticated cyberattacks. The panel also discusses how the federal government is leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance its ability to detect, prevent, and respond to cyberattacks as well as the role for trustworthy AI and where that fits into the cybersecurity discussion. There were so many incredible nuggets of knowledge shared throughout this entire panel it’s worth listening to the whole thing. The panelists at this event represented CISA, Dept. of Commerce, US Navy, and FCEDA.
